SAKA Kitchens is an independent site about planning kitchens in Serbia. We offer a free 3D planner and write detailed guides on pricing, materials and renovation.
Who we are
SAKA Kitchens is run by KVART POINT, a company registered in Belgrade. The project started in 2026 out of a personal need: while fitting out our founder's own kitchen it became clear how hard it is to get a straight answer to “how much does this actually cost, and why”. Quotes arrived ranging from a few hundred to several thousand euros for what looked like the same kitchen, with no explanation of the difference. Rather than leave that research in a notebook, it became this site.
Why this site exists
Buying a kitchen in Serbia is still opaque. Prices are rarely published, quotes are hard to compare because every fitter calculates the running metre differently, and buyers usually have no way to check whether a price is fair before signing. Our aim is to level that out: so that before your first conversation with a fitter you know which materials exist, what they realistically cost, where corners are most often cut at your expense, and how to request a quote you can actually compare against another.
What we offer
Two things. First, a free 3D kitchen planner that runs in your browser with no installation and no sign-up — draw your room to real measurements, arrange catalogue units, and get a layout you can show a fitter. Second, the guides on our blog: renovation cost breakdowns, material comparisons such as MDF versus chipboard, advice for small kitchens and for choosing a carpenter. All of it is free to read, with no paywall and no mandatory account.
Transparency
This matters, so we'll be blunt. The site is operated by KVART POINT, a company registered in Belgrade. We work with vetted fitters and suppliers, and we may earn a commission on that work — when we connect you with a partner, or when a kitchen is contracted through us. It does not cost you more: the commission is paid by the partner out of their own margin. What a commission does not buy is the content of our guides. We publish prices and material comparisons as we find them on the market, and when we name a hardware or board brand in an article, it is because it is genuinely used in Serbia — not because anyone paid for the mention.
How we write
The prices we publish are gathered from publicly available price lists, listings on Serbian marketplaces, and conversations with fitters and buyers. We always publish them as a range rather than a single figure, and we state the period they apply to. These are indicative market estimates — not a quote and not a guarantee. The final price is always set by the fitter based on your measurements and material choices. We update articles when market conditions change materially, and the last revision date appears on every post. If you spot something inaccurate, write to us and we will correct it.
How we're funded
The site is free, but running it is not. We cover server and development costs from three sources: advertising, optional paid AI features, and the partner commissions described above. None of them influences editorial content — we do not sell positive reviews and we do not change recommendations for advertisers or partners.
